SAN DIEGO - “The Legend of Hallowaiian” – starring the likes of Mark Hamill, Vanessa Williams and Tia Carrere – was produced by King’s Hawaiian’s own film division, Fresh Baked Films, and is a family adventure set in the beautiful Hawaiian Islands during a spooky Halloween evening.
King’s Hawaiian and the San Diego Padres are partners in promotion of “The Legend of Hallowaiian,” and former San Diego Padre Steve Garvey will be at Petco Park’s “Park in the Park” in the morning prior to the Padres’ 12:10 p.m. game.
Fans and kids can interact with him, meet one of the film’s characters, and win film-related prizes!
After releasing a mythical monster upon the Hawaiian islands (Pineapplehead), a group of three young friends (Kai, Leilani, Eddie) must get help from local legends like Night Marchers and Menehune to restore peace to the island.
“The Legend of Hallowaiian” is available on DirecTV as its Movie of the Month through Oct. 17.
