SAN DIEGO - Be a part of an unforgettable evening of epicurean splendor showcasing the talents of over 35 of the best chefs from San Diego and Baja!
The annual Chef Throwdown will be on Friday, September 28th from 6-11:30 p.m. at the legendary Hotel del Coronado, benefiting Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
The progressive evening will bring together local fashionable foodies awarding a ‘People’s Choice’ and a Culinary Council of San Diego notables, awarding the Chef Flor Franco Award for Culinary Excellence.
This year's hosts are TV personalities Melissa d'Arabian and Sam the Cooking Guy, with a culinary council including: Fishmonger Tommy Gomes, Paella Fest Creator Armando Rodiel, Bluebridge Hospitality's David Spatafore, and many more.
There are several ticket options (a portion of your ticket purchase is tax deductible!):
- General admission: $250 each, ticket includes the Chef Throwdown food tasting, a 3-course dinner from Hotel del Coronado Executive Chef Stefan Peroutka, an after-party featuring pastries from the city's top pastry chefs and a voice and silent auction.
- VIP experience: $350 each, ticket includes all of the above, plus valet parking, private bar and meet & greet with Master French Chefs Patrick Ponsaty and Olivier Dubreuil. Guests will also receive a signed copy of the 'Master Chefs of France' cookbook.
- Nightcap portion only: $50 each, ticket includes late-night desserts and dancing to DJ Hevrock at 9:30 p.m.
