SAN DIEGO (NEWS 8) - The San Diego California Highway Patrol showed off their lip sync skills Thursday in their rendition of the popular song "Danger Zone" with a Tom Cruise look-alike.
The office said they took on the challenge after seeing the Oceanside office take it on.
The challenge is a tribute to America's Finest City and the filming of “Top Gun: Maverick” in San Diego.
Various locations throughout the video include the USS Midway Museum and the US Navy Blue Angels.
The man playing Tom Cruise in the video is actor Jerome LeBlanc of Ramona, California, who makes a living impersonating the star of "Top Gun" and "Mission Impossible." He surprised several fans at the Independence Day parade this year.
