SAN DIEGO (NEWS 8) - Join the rescued animals of Lions Tigers & Bears for a wild and ghoulish Halloween-themed campout under the stars.
The annual “Spooky Campover” is a family favorite, featuring pumpkin carving, s’mores by the campfire, a costume contest and special animal feedings with rescued big cats and bears.
The Spooky Campover is an overnight event starting at 3 p.m. on Friday, October 26 and ending at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 27.
Reservations are required and can be booked online, or by calling (619) 659-8078, option 4. The non-member cost is $80 for adults, $55 for children 12 and under, while the cost for members is $50 for adults and $35 for children 12 and under.
All proceeds benefit rescued animals. Guests are asked to bring camping gear, food, a pumpkin to carve and of course, your best costume!
