SAN DIEGO (NEWS 8) — In honor of Filipino History Month a special community event will be held this Saturday – and it’s free!
Presented by the Filipino Press and the Otay Ranch Town Center, the Filipino-American history celebration will feature live music and dance performances, a karaoke contest with a $500 first-place prize, vendor booths, food, crafts and more.
The event is this Saturday from noon – 4 p.m.
Event coordinator Susan DeLos Santos stopped by Morning Extra to preview the event and showcase the delicious cuisine attendees can expect to try.
