SAN DIEGO (NEWS 8) - Christmas is a time for giving and Abe Barron along with Trish Watlington are taking the giving spirit to the next level.
On Saturday at The Workshop, they are holding a wrap party where people can wrap items that will be given to people living on the streets of San Diego. The packages will include socks, beanies, gloves, thermals, hoodies and wool blankets. Volunteers will also be able to decorate cookies that will be handed out as well.
On Sunday the group will set up stations on 16th Street for the wrapped packages along with a station for hats, toothpaste, shirts, hygiene products and tamales!
