SAN DIEGO (NEWS 8) — A charity event next month will aim to break the record for most hair donated to children in need.
El Moreno and El Gustavo from The Longhairs organization along with chief stylist and owner of local salon House of Imago Shayna Roberts visited Morning Extra to talk about The Great Cut event and how San Diegans can get involved.
The event will be held March 16 at Port Pavilion on Broadway Pier. The donated hair will be used to create wigs for children who can’t grow their hair for a number of different reasons.
