Candlelight Vigil Planned Tonight For Missing Escondido Girl

Posted: Updated:
ESCONDIDO, Calif. (AP) - A candlelight vigil is planned tonight
for an Escondido girl who has been missing for a week.
Fourteen-year-old Amber Dubois was last seen one week ago today
when she was on her way to school.
The girl's family has said she has never run away and that doing
so would be highly out of character for her.
The family has started a Web site - amberleeanndubois.com - with
her photos and contact information and has hired a San Diego
private investigator to help find her.
Amber is 5 feet 5 inches tall and 130 pounds, with short brown
hair and blue eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was
wearing dark-colored clothing, including a hooded sweatshirt and
tennis shoes.
Tonight's vigil will be held in front of Escondido High School.
