Mitch Gruber is the Digital Director for the KFMB Stations in San Diego, California.
He is responsible for day-to-day management of the digital content and strategy across all digital platforms and has led the digital team at KFMB since he joined the company in June of 2008.
Prior to joining the KFMB Stations, Gruber spent 8 years at the San Diego Union Tribune with the digital team of SignOnSanDiego. He joined the group during the newspaper’s early expansion into digital media and eventually led both local and national digital teams to record revenue levels for the company and for the San Diego media market at the time.
Gruber stays involved in his community and currently is the president of his son’s High School Foundation as well as involved with the United Way San Diego Marketing committee. He had previously served on the executive board of SDX, the San Diego Ad Club.
Mitch is a graduate of Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA where he met his wife, Heather, also a Gonzaga graduate, Go Zags!. He and Heather live in San Diego, with their two sons.
