Here's what's growing at the 'kindness garden' at Chase Avenue Elementary

In this Milkin' San Diego, we head to an elementary school in El Cajon that's growing kale, cabbage and even kindness.

EL CAJON, Calif. — Chase Avenue Elementary School in El Cajon is home to a green garden full of kale, cabbage, tomatoes, lettuce, sunflowers and radishes - just to name a few. You can thank master gardener Heather Holland for her green thumb.

Holland taught our own Jenny Milkowski how to roll up her sleeves and get into the gardening spirit.

However, food and plants aren't the only things growing in the garden. Teacher Michelle Townes-Huerta pioneered a 'kindness garden' where students paint rocks with uplifting messages.
