Did you know that every 40 seconds someone in the United States suffers a stroke? It's one of the leading causes of lifelong disability and death. With a stroke, every second matters. The faster you recognize the warning signs and get treatment, the better the outcome.

Dr. Ryan Viets, Interventional Neuroradiologist with Sharp Grossmont Hospital, joins our Laura Cavanaugh to talk about early stroke detection, prevention and advanced treatment.

If you think someone might be having a stroke, there is an easy way to remember and identify those signs.
