The Texas Workforce Commission has a resource page for anyone whose employment has been affected by the pandemic. There is an additional resources page for the unemployed here.
This is a TWC site that allows job seekers to search for openings.
Included in the services are career coaching, resume writing, job interview coaching and job search assistance. The Good Careers Center will switch to virtual services to help job seekers safely.
A job fair is being held by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission at 10 a.m. Wednesday here.
The FBI is also hiring. This Special Agent (SA) posting is open to all qualified candidates within the United States and its territories. The FBI will use this to fill multiple vacancies around the country, the website says. You can apply here.
The U.S. Intelligence Agency is also looking for students to fill their student program. You can fill out which agency you're interested in, your education level, what kind of opportunity you're seeking and your field of study.
Hiring Heroes is also holding a virtual job fair for United States veterans. It's taking place August 13. You can sign up here.
