Travelers at Lindbergh Field are expected to face fewer delays Tuesday despite a broken X-ray machine.

The airports said a part has been ordered and the machine will be fixed later Tuesday.

The machine broke down Monday morning, and while there were few delays Monday night, travelers earlier in the day reported waits of up to 45 minutes in security lines.

Some travelers, however, did not blame the broken machine, saying that other travelers were not prepared to go through security themselves.

The airport is urging passengers to arrive early and to make sure they are ready to go through security.
