The new service, scheduled to begin Nov. 17, will be to Honolulu. The airline already has a route between San Diego and Kahului, Maui.
The outgoing flight will leave Lindbergh Field at 9:15 a.m. and arrive at 1:15 p.m. The return flight will leave Honolulu at 3:40 p.m. and land in San Diego at 11:15 p.m.
"The expanded service will further connect our two communities and will provide yet another option for San Diegans to visit one of the nation's premier vacation destinations," said Thella Bowens, president and chief executive officer of the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority.
The airline will sell tickets at an introductory one-way price of $149 until next Monday, for travel up to Dec. 15.
