Empowering young girls with the leadership skills they need for a future of success is the mission of the Girl Scouts and right here in San Diego is no exception!

(SAN DIEGO) - Empowering young girls with the leadership skills they need for a future of success is the mission of the Girl Scouts and right here in San Diego is no exception!

Girl Scouts of America are running at 2.7 million strong — 1.9 million girls and 800,000 adult volunteers who believe girls can change the world. It all started in Savannah, Georgia over 100 years ago with one woman, Girl Scouts’ founder Juliette Gordon “Daisy” Low, who believed in the power of every girl.

If you know a girl who is interested in joining the San Diego chapter of Girl Scouts, you can click here to find the nearest troop and click here to check out the many camp sessions that are available this summer!
