SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - The owner of a local Chinese restaurant is hoping to re-open for business soon after a fire Saturday morning forced it to close.

The first alarm fire broke out just before 10:00 a.m. at Szechuan Mandarin on Mission Gorge Road while a kitchen employee was cooking.

Fire officials say no one was injured and the damage was minimal.

Officials believe the cause of the fire was accidental.
