SAN DIEGO — In a proud annual tradition that truly embodies the spirit of the season and our nation’s deep-rooted patriotism, Warrior Foundation Freedom Station and media partners, CBS 8, AM 760, AM 1360 and AM 600 KOGO along with the support of the amazing community are raising funds to fly our ill and injured troops home for the holidays!
America’s military men and women represent the best of our nation. For those who are injured while serving our country, and face the challenges of recovery, rehabilitation and the transition to civilian life, there is no greater gift than to return home to their families for this special time of year.
Tis’ the season for giving, and with your help, we can make wishes come true for our nation’s heroes this holiday season! The 17th annual Warrior Foundation Freedom Station Give-a-thon is a fun and festive event that raises much-needed funds to fly ill and injured soldiers, sailors and Marines home for the holidays, so they can wake up in their own beds on Christmas morning. Please join us as we work to ensure that all service members who wore the uniform for our country can call their families and say, “I’ll be home for Christmas.”
Thank you San Diego for helping us raise over $1.5 million dollars during the 2021 Give-a-thon to reunite injured military service members with their families for the holidays. The 2021 give-a-thon total is the largest in the program's history and would not have been possible without your support. Warrior Foundation accepts donations year-round at warriorfoundation.org.
