SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A concrete water main broke early Saturday morning in the 4600 block of Morena Boulevard, depriving water service to several customers in the vicinity, a San Diego water official said.
"About 10 customers in the 4400 block of Morena Boulevard are currently without water service," said Arian Collins, city of San Diego supervising PIO. "A water wagon is onsite to provide customers with water for drinking, cooking or other needs."
Collins said San Diego utility crews were working on repairing the water main, which is 12 inches in diameter.
He estimated that water service would be restored to customers by 8 p.m. Saturday night.
