SAN DIEGO (SD CRIME STOPPERS) - San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department's Eastern Division are asking for assistance from the public to help identify and locate an unknown suspect(s) who have shot at buildings in the Kearny Mesa area.
On January 18, 2015, between the hours of 10 p.m. and midnight, the 7-Eleven located at 9187 Clairemont Mesa Boulevard was shot at. On May 10, 2015, at 6:48 a.m., the same 7-Eleven was shot at multiple times. On January 30, 2015, San Diego Tire and Wheel located at 3865 Convoy Street was shot at while the business was closed. The Resmed building located at 9001 Spectrum Center Boulevard was shot at some time between March 28, 2015 and April 28, 2015. On April 17, 2015, at approximately 6:15 a.m., the San Diego Gas and Electric (SDG&E) building located at 8326 Century Park Court was shot at multiple times. On May 8, 2015, at approximately 6 a.m., the same SDG&E building was shot at multiple times.
Nobody was struck by the bullets in any of the cases, however the buildings were occupied with employees during four of the six incidents.
Investigators reviewed surveillance video from nearby businesses. Both the January 30th and May 8th incidents showed a grey SUV (possibly a newer Jeep Cherokee) driving by the businesses during the time of the shootings.
