San Diego (CBS 8) - Hundreds of dogs auditioned to become the next "DOGTV" star.
More than 400 pooches and their owners tried to woo judges inside the dog-friendly Mission Brewery in downtown San Diego Sunday.
DOGTV, launched in San Diego in February on Cox and Time Warner and ratings show about 35,000 households tune in on a daily basis.
Only three talented pooches will be featured in upcoming episodes, but they don't get a paycheck.
The 3 winners will be announced on Tuesday and filming begins on Thursday in San Diego.
