One month has passed since the disappearance of Escondido teen Amber Dubois, but friends and family members are not giving up hope.

On Thursday, Escondido firefighters collected donations for the family, using their boots.

Their boot drive raised nearly $10,000 to help in the search for Dubois. Boots are being left at seven Escondido fire stations to collect more money on Friday.

Dubois, 14, was last seen on Feb. 13 walking to Escondido High School.
