SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A fire broke out in a storm drain underneath the Laurel Street Bridge on the Cabrillo Freeway Sunday, authorities said.
The California Highway Patrol was assisting traffic at the Robinson Avenue exit, CHP officials said.
First responders reported smoke came from a storm drain underneath the bridge, San Diego Fire and Rescue said. All units were advised to converge at Tenth and Robinson.
