CORONADO (CNS) - Firefighters Thursday took about 15 minutes to put out a two-alarm blaze that erupted at a condominium in a Coronado residential high rise.

The fire at Coronado Shores, 1720 Avenida del Mundo, was reported about 10:15 a.m., according to Heartland Fire & Rescue.

Crews from that agency fought the flames with help from San Diego and National City firefighters, a Heartland dispatcher said. The personnel had the blaze under control by shortly before 10:30 a.m., she said.

No injuries were immediately reported. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
