A man wanted for double murder in Carlsbad was arrested near Ensenada by Mexican police.
Dennis Gluck was caught by officers on a bus late Thursday night. Gluck, 44, is the prime suspect in the murder of his parents at their Carlsbad home. The bodies of Harry, 90, and Jean Gluck, 78, were discovered with chop wounds on January 18, 2009.
An arrest warrant was issued for Dennis Gluck earlier this month, with the U.S. Marshals service saying they believed he was hiding out in Mexico.
Police have previously said Gluck has a history of mental illness.
Gluck was handed over at the San Ysidro Border Crossing to Carlsbad Police detectives around 1:30 a.m. this morning. He has been booked into the Vista Jail on suspicion of two counts of homicide. His bail has been set at $5 million.
