SAN DIEGO (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County rose Monday for the third consecutive day after falling 60 times in the previous 63 days, increasing seven-tenths of a cent to $3.771.
This is the first time the average price has risen for at least three consecutive days since an eight-day streak of increases April 29-May 6, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is unchanged from one week ago, 16.5 cents lower than one month ago and 60.6 more than one year ago.
The average price rose seven-tenths of a cent Saturday, one day after falling to its lowest level since Feb. 27. The average price rose four-tenths of a cent Sunday.
