School staff from Lakeside Middle School on Wednesday reported that one of their students walking to school was approached by a man driving a blue car and told to get in the car, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.
The incident was reported Wednesday morning after the student was walking to school near Woodside Avenue and Winter Gardens Boulevard.
According to authorities, the student ignored the driver and kept walking to the school where he reported the incident to school staff.
San Diego County Sheriff’s Department said the investigation is ongoing.
