CHULA VISTA, Calif. — You probably remember him from his viral American Idol audition of “She Bangs” back in 2004. William Hung was a star in his own right for years before he started to drift back into obscurity. He says he has worked several jobs since signing his record deal many years ago, but none of them were very fulfilling. He now goes around preaching the power of positivity to anyone who will listen.
He will be speaking at the TEDx Chula Vista event on Saturday at Southwestern College and the topic of “happiness is a choice.” Tickets to the event are sold out, but you can catch the event on Facebook Live. William Hung’s portion of the talk begins at 3:30 p.m.
