Dine out and celebrate with San Diego cuisine on the Fourth of July

Morning Extra was joined by Breakfast Republic, Sandbar and Miss B’s Coconut Club to talk about what they will be serving up on this holiday.

SAN DIEGO — For those who don’t want to work away in a kitchen or over a hot grill for the Fourth you can head out and grab some incredible San Diego eats. Morning Extra was joined by some of San Diego favorite restaurants.

Breakfast Republic has a July special of Lemon Blueberry Poppyseed pancakes that are topped with a lemon glaze and blueberries. The pancakes pair well with their raspberry sorbet mimosa! They are open until 3 p.m. so make sure to get their early!

Sandbar is taking a fun approach to this Fourth of July by having their staff dressed up in lifeguard suits to fit the Baywatch theme. They will also be cooking up some tasty BBQ and will have some great drink specials. They stay open until 2 a.m. so you can have an after party following fireworks!

Miss B’s Coconut Club is also serving up tasty BBQ. They will put their own spin on it with Caribbean-style jerk tacos. At their outdoor pop-up bar they will be serving Dole Whips and specialty drinks.
