SAN DIEGO — You may have heard of speed dating, but have you heard of speed dating with animals? Take your pick, you can speed date on a horse or you can find your fur-ever love!
Poway Equestrian Center will hold a speed dating event on February 16 from noon – 4 p.m. where singles will hop on horseback and ride on a trail while getting to know other riders who are looking for love. Tickets to the event are $50 and can be purchased here.
If you are looking more for puppy love then check out Helen Woodward Animal Center’s “Orphan Pet Speed Dating” event on Valentine’s Day! The event will be set up in the traditional style of singles speed dating. The experience will allow those seeking a new furry friend the chance to meet a variety of dogs and cats of different ages, breeds, and energy levels. Helen Woodward volunteers will be positioned at each station, adopters can discuss lifestyle, house and yard size, family size, and other important details that factor into finding the perfect pet.
