SAN DIEGO — Do you or someone you know have food allergies that make it difficult to eat tasty desserts? Roanna Canete found herself in that exact situation when her son was diagnosed with wheat and egg allergies. That was the catalyst for her beginning gluten-free baking!

She started out of her home and business has been booming, so much in fact, she is planning on opening a brand-new store on Saturday, February 8.

The Gluten Free Baking Co. specializes in gluten-free goods and offers vegan and other allergen-free treats. They also make goodies such as gluten-free bagels, brioches, coffee cakes, brownies, muffins, and donuts.

Gluten Free Baking Co.’s retail shop is located at 4594 30th Street in North Park. All attendees of the grand opening/ ribbon-cutting ceremony will receive free mini chocolate donuts and strawberry cupcakes!
