He was almost a school shooter. Now, he wants to stop them.

Aaron Stark is now a father of four with a passion for life. However, he once was nearly a school shooter.

SAN DIEGO — When Aaron Stark was a teenager, life was falling apart. Stark grew up in a violent, abusive household and self-harmed. Twice he reached out to social services for help, yet professionals turned the high schooler away.

That's when he says he nearly became a school shooter. It wasn't until he found the simple support from a friend that he was able to start the healing process. Now, Stark wants to prevent suicide, violence and school shootings.

His Tedx Talk, “I was almost a school shooter” has more than 9 million views.

It caught the attention of 21-year-old San Diego filmmaker, Jonny Santana. Santana and 150 San Diego artists, filmmakers and businesses put together a film they hope will end mass shootings called "Just Another Tuesday."

They will tour the country with the film and play it at schools across the nation, as well as release it online with celebrity endorsements.

The film premieres on Friday, Nov. 22 at Balboa Park's MOPA on 1649 El Prado both at 6:10 p.m. and 8:10 p.m. This event is free.
