SAN DIEGO — San Diego’s premier mac n’ cheese contest is returning to Waterfront Park on October 26. The 5th Annual San Diego Mac n' Cheese Fest will feature even more cheesiness in 2019 with over 20 restaurants and breweries taking part in the fun.
There will be two awards given during the 21+ event. Best Gourmet Mac n’ Cheese in San Diego (judged by an expert panel) and People’s Choice Best Mac n’ Cheese (popular vote). One of the judges on the expert panel is none other than 100.7 San Diego’s Meryl Klemow.
Competitors from Studio Diner and Lia’s Lumpia stopped by Morning Extra to show some of the culinary creations they will be making.
