Hop on your saddle and help fund cancer research at two San Diego events

Go for a ride to help those on a much more difficult one - fighting cancer.

SAN DIEGO — Whether you're a spin class hero or a stranger to the bike, there's never been a better time to go for a ride.

Hannah Martine has stage four cancer and is partnering with CycleBar and Padres Pedal the Cause to help raise money for cancer research in the San Diego area, and you're invited.

There are two different weekends for you to hop on the bike saddle and help fund this critical cancer research at places like UCSD.

People of all fitness and experience levels are welcome at these events!

Join cancer survivors and supporters this Saturday, Nov. 9 at 3 p.m. at CYCLEBAR in Hillcrest on 1040 University Ave B213 for a charity ride to raise funds for Padres Pedal the Cause. It’s $40 for an hour-long spin class. Book your bike here.

If you're busy this weekend, then you're in luck. There's an opportunity next weekend to do your part in the fight against cancer.

The 7th-annual Padres Pedal the Cause is on Saturday, Nov. 16. If you aren't into biking, don't worry. You can commit to ride, run, walk, spin or volunteer at Petco Park for a world without cancer. There will be four different cycling routes, as well a run/walk 5k along the Embarcadero finishing at Petco Park. Sign up here.

100% of money raised funds cancer research at Salk Institute, Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute, UC San Diego Moores Cancer Center and Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego.
