Princess Project’s $5 dress sale this weekend will raise funds for the nonprofit

The nonprofit provides formal dresses to teens in San Diego who may not be able to afford them for prom and other school dances.

SAN DIEGO — There’s a dress sale this weekend where San Diegans can get dresses of all kinds for just $5 and help support the Princess Project San Diego. The nonprofit provides formal dresses to teens in San Diego who may not be able to afford them for prom and other school dances. Their annual dress sale sells off “non-prom” dresses with proceeds supporting the nonprofit.  

What: $5 dress sale fundraiser benefiting the Princess Project San Diego 

Where: Westfield Mission Valley Mall, 1640 Camino Del Rio North 

When: Saturday, May 18 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
            Sunday, May 19 from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.  

Cost: Free to attend, just $5 per dress including cocktail, sundress, little black, vintage, costume, formal, bridesmaid and other styles ($20+ for special semi-formal/bridal selections). 

The Princess Project San Diego has 30 year-round dress drop off locations in San Diego County that collect prom dresses. If you are interested in donating your prom dress, visit princessprojectsd.org/donate.
