One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. While more women and men are living longer after a breast cancer diagnosis, there is still no cure. Anderson Plumbing, Heating & Air is now joining forces with CBS 8 and Susan G. Komen San Diego in the fight against breast cancer.

Anderson’s commitment to fighting breast cancer is a personal one. Owner and president Mary Jean Anderson has watched her family struggle with the disease and is leading the charge in three distinct ways.

Find a Cure Fridays: For every client who books a plumbing, heating or air service appointment on a Friday in August, September and October, a donation will be made to Susan G. Komen San Diego.

Spread the Word: A reminder for you to take care of your own health by knowing your risks, getting screened, knowing what is normal for you and making healthy lifestyle choices.

The Race for the Cure: On Saturday, November 1 you will see the Anderson Plumbing, Heating & Air team out in Balboa Park for the race. Enter a team of your own or you can help Anderson’s fundraising efforts.
