San Diego's Fire Chief warns of increased fire danger

SAN DIEGO — A red flag warning for extreme fire danger was in effect for parts of San Diego County on Sunday.

The National Weather Service said windy conditions were expected through Sunday afternoon.

Gusts up to 50 mph were predicted in some areas of the county, according the the National Weather Service in San Diego.

The red flag warning will be in effect until 6 p.m. Sunday.
