CARLSBAD (CNS) - A 29-year-old man who allegedly took part in a home invasion robbery in Carlsbad was behind bars Monday, but his alleged accomplice remained at large, police reported.
Michael Robert Dickson was arrested shortly after police were called to the 2000 block of Avenue of the Trees around 6:30 p.m. Sunday, said Carlsbad police Sgt. Mickey Williams.
The victims reported that two people barged into their residence with handguns, he said.
Responding officers spotted a man running from the home and caught him in the laundry room of a nearby house, according to Williams.
Dickson was booked into the Vista Detention Facility on suspicion of kidnapping, robbery, burglary and conspiracy and was being held without bail, according to jail records.
The sergeant said the victims were not hurt.
