SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A 32-year-old man was recuperating Thursday after being shot in one of his legs in the second apparent gang-related shooting in Lincoln Park in two days, police said.

The man was sitting in his vehicle in the 300 block of Euclid Avenue just before 8 p.m. Wednesday when the shooter approached on foot and fired into the vehicle, according to San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros.

The shooter, who was accompanied by two other men and a woman, issued a gang challenge before opening fire, Delimitros said.    

On Tuesday night, in another apparent gang-related attack, a 26-year-old man was shot several times in the street in the 4700 block of Logan Avenue. He died in a hospital early Wednesday morning, police said.

Police described the shooter in Wednesday's incident as an approximately 25-year-old black man with long braided hair. Police have no description of the shooter in Tuesday's incident.
