Thousands of Sailors and Marines on board the USS Ronald Reagan will have to wait a little bit longer before they can deploy.

A mechanical problem has delayed the aircraft carrier, which was scheduled to deploy to the Western Pacific Wednesday morning with five other ships in its strike group. At least two of the other ships have already deployed.

There was no word on when the USS Reagan will be able to leave.

This is the Reagan Strike Group's fourth deployment. It returned six months ago from its last deployment.
