SAN DIEGO  (CBS 8) - Point Loma residents are demanding changes to a deadly intersection.

In March, 7-month-old Juniper Aavang was hit and killed by car while her father pushed her in a stroller in a crosswalk on Canon Street at Catalina Boulevard.

Thursday night, City of San Diego traffic engineers gave residents a first look at the new plans for the area to keep pedestrians and drivers safe.

In this CBS News 8 report, Abbie Alford shares resident concerns about the new crosswalk including speed, bike paths, and alerting drivers in enough time.
