Salvation Army serves 2,000 at Golden Hall

It's estimated the Salvation Army fed close to 2,000 people at its annual Thanksgiving dinner at Golden Hall.

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - It's estimated the Salvation Army fed close to 2,000 people at its annual Thanksgiving dinner at Golden Hall.

Even some fake celebrities turned out.

A Ron Burgundy impersonator was on hand to help serve the dinner as was CBS News 8's own Phil Blauer and his family.

Diners were also entertained with a motorcycle riding dog.

In all, volunteers prepared and served 800 pounds of turkey, 500 pounds of dressing and 275 pumpkin pies.
