SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) – Hundreds of kids in San Diego County got a sneak peak at The Haunted Trail at Balboa Park Thursday night.
More than 700 teens from 20 recreation centers across the city of San Diego attended the dress rehearsal night for the Haunted Trail at Balboa Park.
Preview night was free for the teens who got spooked on the trail filled with goblins, zombies and a ghoul bus.
Also this year on the trail is a haunted Plantation and Bourbon Street in New Orleans and live scenes from American Horror Story.
For six extra “bones” visitors can experience a frightening maze called The Experiment.
The Haunted Trail and Haunted Hotel officially starts on Friday, September 26.
Hours from 9/26-10/9: Weeknights 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., Friday and Saturday 7 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
Hours 10/10-11/1: Weeknights 7 p.m. to 11 pm, Friday and Saturday 6:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
Closed Monday and Tuesday except 10/27 & 10/28
