Police said a man in San Ysidro was stabbed multiple times by five teenagers who then stole his car.

The victim was parking his 1995 Lexus near 3604 Beyer Boulevard just south of the 905 Freeway about 11:30 p.m. Friday, when five teens approached and attacked him with a knife, said San Diego police Sgt. Alan Hayward.

They stabbed the victim once in the neck and once in the back, before driving off in his car, said Hayward.

The man, whose name was withheld, was expected to survive.
