SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) – Fire crews quickly extinguished an early morning house fire in Point Loma Wednesday.
The SDFD reports that the cause of the fire was the proximity of furniture to a floor heater.
Flames broke out around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday at a home in the 2200 block of Poinsettia Drive.
The fire was put out in 10 minutes, but crews stayed on scene until about 7:30 a.m. to mop up hot spots.
No one was hurt and there's no word yet on how much damage was done.
