A door-to-door search for a missing 14-year-old girl resumed today, officials said.

San Diego Sheriff's search and rescue volunteers joined others Tuesday evening knocking on doors and handing out fliers with information about Amber Leeann Dubois, who has been missing since Friday, said sheriff's Lt. Mike Munsey.

Amber was last seen walking to Escondido High School Friday morning. Witnesses have told police that she was seen Saturday evening near Palomar Memorial Hospital, but police have not confirmed those reports.

Volunteers are expected to gather again about 8 a.m. today to check neighborhoods around Rincon Avenue and Conway Drive at the north end of Escondido, The San Diego Union-Tribune reported.

Family members have set up a website - amberleeannedubois.com - with pictures and contact information for Amber Dubois.
