SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A man disguised in a construction hat and a surgical mask robbed a Point Loma bank Saturday.

The masked man walked into a Chase bank on Midway Drive and Kemper Street about 3:21 p.m., San Diego police Officer Mark Cali said.

He handed the teller a demand note and fled across the parking lot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Nobody was injured and the suspect did not appear to be armed, Cali said. Apart from the construction hat and surgical mask, the robber was described as white, about 6 feet tall wearing a light shirt and blue jeans.
