SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Firefighters quickly knocked down a small fire that broke out in a homeless encampment in the Kensington area.
The fire was reported at about 9:45 a.m. in a canyon along Interstate 15 near Adams Avenue.
Firefighters got a quick handle on it before it moved in the direction of nearby homes.
No injuries were reported. How the fire started is under investigation.
