SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A man led police on a dangerous chase, running stop signs and street lights Monday night.
Officers tried to stop a pickup truck on Mira Mesa Boulevard just before midnight. The driver took off, ran two stop signs and a red light before spinning out at Camino Ruiz.
He tried to make a run for it but was arrested nearby. A female passenger was also taken into custody.
Investigators say they both appeared to be under the influence and drug paraphernalia was found inside the car. No one was injured during the chase.
