LA JOLLA (NEWS 8) - Members of San Diego's Jewish community led Tuesday night's "Stand Up To Hate" rally at the Lawrence Family JCC - their goal was to send a message that extremism will not be tolerated in San Diego.

Among those in attendance was a Holocaust survivor. She was among the hundreds who joined together in La Jolla to denounce hate and bigotry in the wake of the violence in Virginia.

The organizers want San Diego to remain a safe and unified community.
