PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) - Ireti Amojo hit four 3-pointers and scored 16 points as the Washington State women's team beat San Diego State 65-50 on Friday night.

Carly Noyes added 10 points as the Cougars (5-4) rebounded from a two-point loss to Gonzaga on Wednesday night.

Chelsea Hopkins scored 14 points and Courtney Clements 13 for San Diego State (4-3).

After being down by 20 in the first half, the Aztecs went on a 12-3 run to start the second half. But the Cougars got red hot from behind the arc, hitting three 3-pointers to take a 23-point lead at 51-28.

The Aztecs cut their deficit to 11 with 5 minutes remaining, but Amojo hit back-to-back 3-pointers to put the game out of reach.

Washington State forced 20 turnovers, including 13 in the first half, and had a season-high 12 steals.
